AEROSIM CFO JOHN KRAMER EARNS: ORLANDO BUSINESS JOURNAL C-LEVEL AWARD

Aerosim Chief Financial Officer John Kramer was recognized by the Orlando Business Journal as one of Central Florida's outstanding executives. The annual C-Level awards celebrate the region's top CIOs, COOs, CFOs, CMOs and CXOs of distinction in business categories from government and nonprofits to small, medium and large companies.

As CFO of Aerosim Inc., John is the only C-Level employee responsible for all divisions of the company including the Flight Academy, Technologies, Training Solutions, Aerosim UK and Aerosim Bangkok, as well as sales agents located in nine countries in Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. John is not only directly responsible for the finance, treasury and administrative functions of the organization, but also the bottom line results of all areas of the business.

Among his major accomplishments: Additional capital was raised from existing investors; new customers were added; the number of contracts was increased; the company got its first price increases in more than five years; the academy went from a low of 200 cadets in April 2014 to more than 450 in April 2015; more than 20 percent of fixed costs were eliminated in the past two years; new sources of financing were found, allowing the firm to buy several new aircraft for the first time in eight years; and the firm began its first major facility renovations in the last decade. Most importantly, both businesses grew revenue this year and are solidly profitable.

Additionally, John is a lector and ecumenical minister at his local church where he makes weekly visits to nursing homes for communion, was Treasurer of his daughter's Parent Student Teacher Association (PSTA), a 501(c)-3 charity and was a chairman of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
